Collection: Concrete Guêpière
Looks: 4
Preface: The Guêpière, a French waist-cincher with suspenders, inspired this project, driving an exploration of draping and pattern-making with leather. Drawing from the industrial atmosphere of a concrete pre-cast factory, Prefabricados, I aimed to translate the cranes and robust structures into a collection that embodies femininity within an industrial setting. The draping experiments focused on creating fluidity that contrasts with the rigid lines of industrial design. The resulting dresses are both elegant and utilitarian, designed to integrate seamlessly into a workspace, capturing the simplicity and strength of the factory's environment.

RATE
Collection: RATE
SEASON: RESORT 23
Looks: 6
Preface: Inspired by sustainability, Rough Around The Edges is a collection that utilizes Japanese Boro-Boro to translate Sashiko stitching into digital prints. Boro is the Japanese word for "tattered" or reworked. Rather than scrapping, mending techniques accept imperfections as permanent features and focus on highlighting them instead. These prints were achieved by mimicking tears on denim and applying them to placement and repeat prints.
